If you haven't heard yet, the Houston Texans are releasing new uniforms for the 2024 season and beyond.
The Texans are ready and set to release their new uniforms next week, as they have already released their away version. However, the same way the away version was released could be the same thing that just happened to another version of the uniform.
The white tops and blue bottoms were leaked on Twitter. Then Cal McNair, the owner of the Texans, went to release them himself. The Texans let the internet take them in for a bit before they announced the reveal date of all four new uniforms.

The uniforms will be revealed at the release party on April 22; however, another version was released on Twitter, but this time it was an alternate helmet.
Many fans are split on this, but the helmet represents the city of Houston better than the old one with a bull on the side. I like the helmet a lot, and this also means that if this is the alternate helmet, the Texans' main helmet will likely be a different main color.
They won't do a rebrand, be allowed to have three different helmets, and keep the main one the same color as the old ones. That just wouldn't make much sense.
The helmets are nice, and I think fans should start to be open to this change the franchise is going through. Change is good.
